About ICBW
Indy Comic Book Week is not only an event but a call to action. Indie Comic Book Week was an event held when Diamond Distribution had a skip week in shipping; but we can't sit by and just wait for it to happen again. So this coming August (2017), we are challenging comic creators to bring new material for this event. We ask that retailers take this opportunity to showcase local independent talent on the new release shelves. We encourage fans to break from their buying habits and try something new. Together, we can make our creator-owned community strong.
